Set in 1970s South Africa, The Valley Road combines social and political revolution with family drama. When two childhood friends––one black, one white ––are reunited in adulthood, they must protect each other from a brutal apartheid government. But what begins as the restoration of a shattered friendship becomes a maelstrom of espionage and revolution.
