Adam Rubin
Writer/Director/Photographer
Adam Rubin is an award-winning writer, director and photographer. Since winning the Jack Nicholson Award from USC film school, the school's top graduate filmmaking award and scholarship, he has been honing his story-telling craft in different ways... becoming an ever-evolving visual storyteller.
On the Directing side, he has worked professionally in narrative short form, branded entertainment and documentary. More recently, he has focused on the writing side of the craft, developing television series and films with top production companies such as Levinson/Fontana and Citizen Skull Productions.
His most recent short film, "A Perfect Day" played in over 40 festivals, winning a range of awards and accolades and garnering both entertainment and educational distribution. His USC film school thesis film, "The Cricket Player", is consistently one of the most requested short films in the entire famous USC film school archive. It has screened in many formats, including on different airlines and TV networks.
Both "A Perfect Day" and “The Cricket Player” qualified for Academy Award consideration, and either won or was a finalist for many awards including the Rhode Island International Film Festival's Grand Jury Prize and many others. Both films have received distribution.
Adam has directed commercials and the feature-length Holocaust documentary "Forever After", and has also been an entrepreneur, developing diverse businesses that have given him unique insights into a range of different worlds. He also has received an MBA in business from the University of Oxford.
Adam is also a noted photographer, and his work has been displayed in galleries. He has a well-rounded background, and is passionate about his storytelling work in all formats.
